What is a domed car badge?
A domed car badge is a printed emblem sealed under a thick, clear polyurethane resin dome. The dome gives it the raised, glossy, three-dimensional look of a molded or chrome emblem, but it is made from your artwork by digital print and cut — so there is no tooling, no mold cost and no minimum quantity. It applies with automotive-grade 3M adhesive to paint, plastic trim, glass or metal.
Are domed badges car-wash safe and UV-resistant?
Yes. The print is fully encapsulated under UV-stabilized polyurethane, so car washes, pressure washing, road salt, fuel splashes and years of sun do not fade or lift it. Unlike epoxy domes it does not yellow. Rated -40°F to 180°F for engine-bay heat and winter cold.
Can you make custom car emblems in my own shape?
Yes — any shape. Send your logo (AI, EPS, PDF, PNG or JPG) and we die-cut the badge to its exact outline, or to a circle, oval, shield or rectangle. Typical badge sizes run from 1" to 6" across; larger emblems for tailgates and trailers are quoted on request.
Is there a minimum order for custom car badges?
No minimum. Order one badge for a single build, or thousands for a product line. Per-piece price falls steeply with quantity — a typical 2-inch badge runs roughly $2.45 each at 100 pieces and under $0.80 each at 1,000. Exact prices for your size are calculated instantly online. Production takes about 5 business days after proof approval.
